2009 BETH MOORE LIVING PROOF LIVE SIMULCAST - AUGUST 28 & 29 - Best-selling Christian author Beth Moore will deliver a message to an estimated 90,000 women on August 28 & 29, 2008 LIVE from Green Bay, Wisconsin via a national simulcast.  Local residents will once again have the opportunity to see the popular Bible teacher and speaker live without leaving Lakeway!  Living Proof Live is a unique women’s event—no two bearing the same message. Moore’s focus is on the scripture God leads her to teach for each specific event.  Her compelling style of teaching the Bible and sharing her own journey resonates with women of different ages, races, backgrounds and denominations around the world.  “Our deep and genuine desire is to see the Holy Spirit of the living God poured out on people so that the lost are found, the weary are revived, and Christ is glorified through lives unleashed to bear much fruit,” says Moore. “We have one goal: people coming to love Jesus Christ with a passion through the study of His Word.”  Sign up in the church office at 2203 Lakeway Blvd., Lakeway, TX 78734; $25 per ticket.  You must pay when you register.  Tell your friends!  All women are invited!  More information 261-6331.

RECURRING EVENTS:

CHURCH SUPPER is held the first Wednesday of each month.  There is no church supper in Jully.

AEROBICS CLASSES -  Monday through Thursday.  Details HERE.

CARING FOR CAREGIVERS meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at noon (bring your lunch) in Room 204.  This is a wonderful support group for those who find themselves caring for a loved one.

GRIEF GROUP  meets weekly at 4:30 pm on Tuesdays in the Prayer Room off the Sanctuary.  Led by Pastor Brent Graham, everyone is invited.

The PRIME TIMERS generally get together on the third Thursday of each month for an outing using the church bus.  For details of upcoming activities, click HERE.

H.I.S. (Heavenly Inspired Schooling) - The H.I.S. (Heavenly Inspired Schooling) Homeschool Group meets on the fourth Monday of the month from 7-8:30 pm.  We are now registering families for the 2009-2010 Co-op.  If you or someone you know would be interested in joining, we would encourage you to attend this meeting.  We will also spend time in fellowship and prayer.  Please spread the word and join us in the Java, Juice area of the Fellowship Center Hall on the 4th Monday this month.  If you have any questions, please contact Trisha Reece at 512-284-8071 or treece4@austin.rr.com.

NEW BUILDING UPDATE:

The PRAYER TILES on which many of our congregation wrote scriptures, prayers and wishes for our new CHILDREN'S & YOUTH MINISTRIES BUILDING were placed last month and the foundation poured on top of them.  What a great FOUNDATION OF PRAYER for the building.  The contractor is on schedule and we are still anticipating being in the new building in November.  Check out the progress at right!  This photo was taken July 1.  We are on schedule and under budget!!!
