The Lakeway Church Christian Preschool is an extension of the Educational Ministry of The Lakeway Church, serving families with young children of the Church and the greater Lake Travis community.  It is a weekday preschool program designed to serve children in an environment of Christian love and education.

Specific objectives include:

• Developing a familiarity with the Bible and appropriate Christian traditions and practices

• Developing the self-discipline to be God-directed

• Learning to give, share and treat each other respectfully

• Developing a positive self-image as a child of God

• Growing socially, emotionally, physically and mentally through a balance of developmentally appropriate activities

Classes are held Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. 

With the exception of the beginning and ending of the school year, The Lakeway Church Christian Preschool follows the Lake Travis Independent School District calendar with regard to holidays, staff development, vacations and bad weather days.

The Preschool is staffed by qualified teachers and meets all state requirements for preschools.  The program utilizes the classrooms of The Lakeway Church Education Building and a large playground adjacent to the building.  Children ages nine months through five years of age as of September 1 of each school year are eligible to enroll.  We welcome children of any race, sex, religion or national origin.

Class size ranges between 6 and 16 students and all classes have two teachers.   Classes are held for infants/young toddlers, older toddlers, young twos, older twos, threes, fours and fives.  Classes are held Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
