Youth Family Retreat - 2003

at the Highland Lakes Camp!

Ahhhh, a wonderful weekend of fun, praise & worship, working on family relations and fellowship! 16 families, 70 people strong, spent the weekend together at the Highland Lakes Conference Resort right here on Lake Travis. We all enjoyed a relaxing weekend together before we hit the whirlwind of school schedules and the like.

Rev Mac did a fabulous job preparing and delivering our topic of discussion: Raising Godly Families in a Secular World. We sang praise and worship, played games, and discovered and discussed the important role each one of us plays in a Godly family.

Two fathers baptized their sons in Lake Travis!  What a wonderful experience!

Michele Wyatt also did a great job in securing a wonderful campsite with amenities such as air conditioning, blob, climbing wall, banana boat, air conditioning, ropes course, great food, great meeting facilities and air conditioning!

Next year we’re looking forward to a bigger & better family retreat. We nearly doubled last year’s attendance and hope to do so again next year!
