The brain child of Dariush Rad and Bill Aydam and lots of time
in the planning brought about 150 church family members together for the first
ever TLC Family Reunion, held Sat. eve., June 28, 2004.
Sharing family history, trading generational stories, playing
worshipful music, singing the Lord’s praises, taking family photos and
discussing current and future plans. Just like a true family reunion!!
Mr. Bill Lindholm, a 25-year family member, shared his
memories of the church’s earlier years and several department leaders shared
plans for church programs and events.

The older generation mingled with children and was treated to
selections from their Bible school music.
The Chancel Choir performed beautiful favorites...
...and the praise band shared their tremendous talent through
more contemporary music.
(Whichever your preference, there can be no doubt that the
Holy Spirit moves in music that glorifies.) And hospitality volunteers provided
wonderful snacks.
Reconnecting with old friends and making new ones.
Understanding how best to unite for the glory of God. Is there any greater
purpose for our church family? Sincere thanks to those who worked so tirelessly
to bring the family reunion to TLC!
"Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a
special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are all parts of his one
body, and each of us has work to do. And since we are all one body in Christ, we
belong to each other, and each of us needs all the others." Romans 12: 4-5
