Lakeway Church Youth Invade Breckenridge Colorado!

And an invasion it was!  We had 50 of us hitting the slopes this year for a fast and furious 3 days of skiing and snowboarding!  The spring conditions were perfect for the mountain and the evenings were filled with dinner, hot tubs, Bible studies and a trip or two into town!  By the last day, I'd say we were one tired, sore, sunburned group that had a wonderful time on the mountain and in fellowship with our group.

Out of 50 we had 2 broken wrists, one sprained wrist, 2 altitude sickness (or perhaps a bug) and a high fever!  Guess that's to be expected with group as large as ours!  Thank you for keeping us in your prayers as none of these incidents were serious in any way!

Getting there was no easy task!  Trying to keep up with 50 folks in the airports, on the buses, in the grocery store, at the ski rental... whew!!!

The slopes were awesome!  Beautiful spring skiing!  Everyone had a blast!

Lunch on the mountain was a great break for everyone to get back together and talk about the slopes, sore muscles, broken bones...you get the picture!

And then we all regrouped in the evenings for a little Praise & Worship and Bible Study lead by our fabulous David Butler!
